Structural Analysis of Lipid Component from Deer Antler

Abstract
Abstract-The one component of lipids in deer antler was investigated. The lipid component of ethanol extract obtained from antler was purified by HPLC and dialysis As result of FAB-MS, it was identified that the molecular weight of the lipid
component
was 1065 and structural fragments were 1065-784-541-392. Further structural investigation of the lipid component by NMR, FT-IR and atomic analysis revealed that 281 fragment(1065-784) analyzed by FAB-MS could be an oleate. It was also suggested
from the
results of 13C NMR and FT-IR spectroscopy that approximately 10 of oxgen-linked carbons, and 2-3 of double bonds but no sugar existed in the lipid component.
